The scriptwriters clearly discarded the idea to simply film the works in the order in which the author wrote them. Some of the shown canon are very far from each other. So either the season will bring a significant part of the saga, or the creators decided to tell the story in their own way, having built a different chronology.

So, the entire teaser is dedicated to three main characters. This is Geralt from Rivia, he is a white wolf, Yennifer from Hungarian and Ciri.

The video begins with the fact that we see a witcher walking around an unknown city, and for some reason people shun him. Although in his right hand he holds the sword in the scabbard, it is obvious: while the blade is not naked, he is not going to attack anyone.

Then we are sent to a certain room for a couple of seconds, flooded with moonlight, where a white wolf fights with a monster, but also does not expose a sword. And then they return to the city by which the witcher is walking. But this time the camera is already looking in his face, and we see that it is sprayed with blood. Behind the back of Geralt are people with burning torches. From all this, we can conclude that the White Wolf fought with the Stryga, into which Princess Adda turned, the daughter of the king of the foltx. Recall that Geralt had to not be killed, namely. Therefore, the witcher did not use the weapon. And he, by the way, most likely took off his jacket to cover a haul at a split girl. That is why he is dressed in one shirt and carries a sword in his hand.

The main issues remain only to select actors. Some of them do not fit into the entourage of medieval eastern Europe, or the description of their characters. But we all understand why Netflix made such a choice. Therefore, you can argue endlessly, but there is little sense in this. You will have to get used to new images and hope that they will successfully fit into what is happening.
