After a week of no one except Ryuk in company, Light is ready to give up his obituary and all his memories. Aside from his previous actions, Light is convinced that he is innocent. But L is ready to keep the light under wraps, especially because the murders stopped when the light was turned off. Then a new wave of Kira crimes hits Japan. Someone else got their hands on an obituary, and these new deaths are not meant to make the world a better place, but to make money. Large companies can be killed and Kira has become a businessman.
