“Animation has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. With a focus on queer representation in my personal work, I believe animation is a powerful medium for recognizing, displaying and normalizing queer youth. After creating a short animated queer film called FISHY and being screened in over 30 queer and non-queer film festivals, winning several awards, and raising over $1,100 for the LGBT Center through it’s release, I realized I had the power to make a difference with my work through my passion for animation.”
