Stan goes full Trump
The acting was clearly the best, led by two standout performances: Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong. This is the best work I’ve seen from Sebastian Stan, and one of the best from Jeremy Strong (The Hereditary is still his best). He doesn’t try to imitate her, but gives a nuanced performance.
The look, atmosphere and acting really captures the feel of the 70s movies
In the best possible way, this movie feels like it was made in the 70s. One thing I really liked about the movie was the fact that it was a really good movie. If you took the fact that it’s about Donald Trump and made him completely fictional, it would still be a great movie, and both leads would still give great performances.
